This region is covered with the abundant natural beauty of Nepal and Tibet having an altitude of 5,495 metres. The region is also known as Little Kashmir or Pithogarh. The high altitude peaks onto the Kumaon Himalayas.

This place also has some historical significance as the route was occupied by Bhotiyas for their trade.
This region is among the moderate trekking places in the Kumaon region. This area gives a view of Adi Kailash Peak which is at an elevation of 6191 metres. The scenic view and the adventurous mountains attract trekkers and adventure lovers to this area.

Itinerary For Sinla pass trek

Day 1 - Drive from Kathgodam to Dharchula

The journey for this day covers 290 km in 10 hours.

Day 2 - Acclimatization Day at Dharchula

Dharchula

This day is meant to acclimatize with the surroundings.

Day 3 - Dharchula to Budi

Budi

2740 metres is covered in 4-5 hours.

Day 4 - Budi to Gunji

Gunji

5-6 hours trekking covers an altitude of 2895 meters.

Day 5 - Nabi to Nabi Dang

Nabidang

This parvat will be covered in 5-6 hours which is situated at an altitude of 3500 metres.

Day 6 - Nabidang to Nabi

Nabi

2895 metres will be covered in 5-6 hours.

Day 7 - Rest day at Nabi

This day one will take rest at Nabi.

Day 8 - Nabi to kutti

An ascent to 3810 metres in 5-6 hours.

Day 9 - Kutti to Jyolingkong

An ascent to 4419 meters in 6-7 hours.

Day 10 - Rest day at Jyolingkong

This day everyone will take a rest at Jyolingkong.

Day 11 - Jyolingkong to Bedang via Sinla pass

One will reach at an elevation of 5495 metres in 6-7 hours.

Day 12 - Bedang to Panchachuli base camp

Panchachuli

A Descent to 4620 meters in 6-7 hours.

Day 13 - Baling to Dharchula

Dharchula

A descent to 2743 meters.

Day 14 - Dharchula to Kathgodam

Kathgodam

290 km are travelled in 9-10 hours.
