Located in the southernmost part of India, in a small town situated in the southeastern part of Tamil Nadu, The Sea Shell Museum in Mahabalipuram is a storehouse of seashells and shells from all over the world. It has more than 40,000 seashells and shells. Apart from that it also has a shopping area named "Maya Bazaar", there is also a seafood restaurant and a beautiful aquarium in its compound.

The India Sea Shell Museum holds some of the rarest to most unique shells from all over the world. It has more than 40,000 varieties of shells and seashells, various types of oysters, and other aquarian creatures. The seashells and shells are collected by a single individual Mr. Raja Mohamed. He started collecting them in 1970 and the collection started growing since then. Now it is India's first and Asia's biggest seashell museum.

Pancha Rathas: Pancha(five) Rathas are one of the earliest monuments of their type in India. The five rathas are Draupadi Ratha, Arjuna Ratha, Bhima Ratha, Dharmaraja Ratha, and Nakula-Sahadeva Ratha.
Shore Temple: It is one of the oldest temples in Tamil Nadu, South India.
Mahishasuramardini Cave: It is a rock cut-out cave temple it is also known as the Mahishamardini mandapa.
