It is 8 acres in size and divided into four distinct colour zones, with a stunning floral display that is meticulously maintained. Yellow and gold-colored orchids are prevalent in the springtime region.

Tan Hoon Siang Mist House

The Heritage Orchid Garden is a tribute to the significance of orchids in Singapore's history and culture. It is home to a variety of purple, yellow, and orange orchids.

The orchids in the Heritage Orchid Garden bear the names of illustrious historical figures. While the Arachnis orchid is named for Maggie Oei, the Aranthera orchid is named for Beatrice Ng.


Yuen Peng McNeice Bromeliad Collection


The Yuen Peng McNeice Bromeliad Collection is one of the most significant components of the Tropical Montane Orchidium at the National Orchid Garden. It is named after Lady Yuen Peng McNeice, who passed away.

The display area is approximately 620 square metres in size and was inspired by the tropical forests of Central and South America. This attraction has been redesigned to resemble a Neotropical forest habitat at a mid-elevation of 650 to 1,000 metres, complete with an extensive collection of orchids, bromeliads, climbers, and Neotropics.


Tropical Montane Orchidarium 

The Tropical Montane Orchidarium is one of the most popular attractions in the National Orchid Garden, which is renowned for its enchanted paths that travel through a concealed ravine and a glass house.
