The Rewalsar Lake is also called Tso Pema Lotus Lake is one of the biggest surprises to witness because of its unusual and unique shape mainly. This square shaped lake or the mid-altitude lake is situated in the Mandi district, located at a height of around 1360 meters above the sea level. This place is also a highly daunting site.
The sacred water of this river along with the deep woods and sky piercing mountain peaks have contributed in the enhancement of the beauty to this spot. It has been an important yet glorifying destination for the Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists as this lake shares its space with three of the famous Buddhist monasteries with that of three Hindu temples.
