This is essentially a mountain pass and one of the best places in India for hiking. The starting point for trekking is the Galu temple, which is situated in the Himalayan part of the Dhauladhar range. In Dharamsala, there is a temple called the Galu. You may see Triund, a campground, as you travel. The Lahesh Caves must also be seen while travelling there. Hikers passing across the Grand Indrahaar pass in Kasol frequently camp at Triund and Lahesh Caves. At Chamba, the journey is over.

 

 

 

You may explore the Pir Panjal Mountains and Dhauladhar Range by going on a hiking adventure. The trail is a little challenging. You travel on foot through lush meadows and through forested areas.If you have never visited a tropical forest, these Deodar and Rhododendron jungles can be a magical experience. You also trudge on the historic Gaddi Herders trail.

 

This pass hike is an incredible adventure. The Mani Mahesh Kailash peak is seen. Your delight in the snow-covered Panjal Range will never fade. Between May and October is the ideal time to go here.
