Get ready to explore the wildlife culture of Wayanad. Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Tholpetty which stretches for 350 sq kilometers and it offers a wide range of flora and fauna that is very uncommon to find in the populated areas.
Explore this thrilling place in a jeep safari and witness animals like herds of elephants, guars, deer, monkeys, tigers, leopards, bears, and many species of reptiles, fishes, butterflies and birds including vultures. For the Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary Jeep Safari, you don’t need any entry fees. You will require forest department permits to enter the premises. This activity will have a professional driver cum guide along with the fuel charges, so that you don’t have to arrange a driver or a vehicle on your own.
This sanctuary is situated 20km east of Mananthavady on the Kodagu Road. You can reach here easily through public or private transport.
