Day 2 - Joshimath to Govindghat (Drive) to Ghangharia (Trek)

  • Trek: 14 km
  • Altitude: 3048 m After an early breakfast, meet your guide and embark on a drive from Joshimath to Govindghat, the starting point for your fully escorted trek. Govindghat to Ghangharia, the base village for Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib, offers a stunning trek with scenic river views. Enjoy a hot lunch on the trek route and arrive in Ghangharia in the late afternoon. You'll stay at Hotel Himsarovar, Luxury Premium Camps, or a similar accommodation.

Day 3 - Ghangharia - Valley of Flowers - Ghangharia

  • Altitude: 3658 m After breakfast, begin your fully escorted trek to the Valley of Flowers. The first part of the trek takes you through thick forests along the Pushpavati river, and later, you'll trek through open meadows. Explore the area and discover numerous rare flowers, including Blue Poppy, Potentilla, Geranium, and many more. It's a full day to explore the Valley of Flowers, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.   • Altitude: 4329 m Following breakfast, embark on a fully escorted trek to Hemkund, a renowned high-altitude lake in the Uttarakhand Himalayas. It's also a place of worship for Sikhs and Hindus. The trek is uphill, and at Hemkund, you'll witness a crystal-clear lake with breathtaking views of surrounding peaks. Visit Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara and Lakshman Temple on the lake's banks.
