Neptune Coffee kiosk: The red and yellow flags that denote a patrolled beach should be swum between. Along the Gold Coast Highway at Tallebudgera Creek, there is a lifeguard tower that is constantly on duty (beach side). From November to April, the tower is patrolled daily from 8 am to 5 pm. Visit the Neptune Royal Life Saving Club for further details. Members of Neptune are available for aid and rescue, as well as for worry checks to make sure everything is okay. Even though thanks are few and far between, a successful intervention and a sigh of relief from a delighted parent, relative, or buddy make the heart proud by providing satisfaction and a satisfying experience.
Sightseeing: Around the confluence of Tallebudgera Creek, there are several lookout points. From each of these locations, you may see Burleigh Heads, the sea, the river, and the sandy beaches. Go to the best vantage point you can find to see the sun rise over the horizon. This is a sight you do not want to lose or regret, so remember to take shots!
Fishing: Throw a line and witness for yourself why Tallebudgera Creek is a crowd delicacy. You could get lucky and capture a couple yourself. You'll find more than enough bait to catch flatheads, carp, and huge whiting at any of the Gold Coast BCF or Anaconda stores.
Watersports: Tallebudgera Creek is a great place for an adrenaline rush if you have experience with adventure sports and enjoy bridge jumping. On the bridge's north end, on the side that faces the water, you can leap. Although the game is entertaining for kids, you should always think about your well-being before you jump.
Bird-watching: There are many birds along the riverbank, and if you're lucky, you might see an osprey, a sacred kingfisher, a sea eagle, or a rainbow bee-eater. Keep an eye on these birds and use your camera or smartphone to catch some beautiful pictures of them.
