As you make your way to the top of the hill for the banyan tree, you will find a freshwater lake on your way that offers fun activities. You can take a bath here or indulge yourself in various water sports. The lake is located very close to the sea and is a major wonder to many as the sea has salty water and the lake has sweet water, even after being so close to the sea. Locals claim that it is a freshwater lake that also has healing properties.

3. Beach-side markets:

When you're in Arambol Beach North Goa, you can't miss the beachside bazaar that's full of great cuisine, clothes, accessories, handmade decorative items, souvenirs and more. If you explore the beachside market, you will also be introduced to exotic Goan dishes like shrimp curry, crab, tiger prawns, lobsters, etc.

The nearest railway station is Pernem Railway Station (PERN) located about 10-20 km away. To reach here one can take locally available transport such as taxi, local bus or an autorickshaw. Depending on the traffic conditions, it may take you around 20-30 minutes to travel here.

By road:
