Haller Park: Haller Park is a nature preserve that every animal lover should go to. This
nature preserve is home to various animals, including giraffes, hippos, and zebras. A
130-year-old tortoise was also housed in the park! You can observe the birds and animals
and even inquire about feeding the giraffes.
Diani Beach: One of Mombasa's most popular places to unwind and unwind is Diani Beach.
It is a long beach with white sand and offers water sports like parasailing, windsurfing,
sailing, snorkeling, kite surfing, diving, and water-skiing. Additionally, Diana Beach has an
excellent nightlife.
Old town: Mombasa's Old Town is a historic town next to Tudor Creek on the city's southeast
end. Stroll down the picturesque streets that display elements of African, Asian, and
European culture. Go clubbing at Avanti or Bella Vista, buy souvenirs at the antique shops,
eat at the local restaurants that serve Kenyan cuisine, and try the world-famous Kenyan
coffee and tea.
Nguuni Nature Sanctuary: On Mombasa's north coast, near the Nguu Tatu Hills, is the
animal sanctuary and park known as Nguuni Nature Sanctuary. It is a 10-minute drive from
Bamburi and is home to various African wildlife. It also offers game drives where you can
see the oryx, eland, giraffe, and ostrich. Furthermore, it has a designated spot for picnicking and is famous
for camping.
Mombasa Tusks: Over Moi Avenue is a monument known as the Mombasa Tusks. Pembe
za Ndovu is another name for it, which means elephant tusks in Swahili. It was constructed
to resemble elephant tusks and was initially made of wood. However, in recent years, it has
been rebuilt in aluminium to resemble an M shape, also Mombasa's first letter.
Mama Ngina Waterfront: Mama Ngina Waterfront is a public beach park with a view of the
Kilindini Channel. It is visited for its extensive greenery, breathtaking views of the Indian
Ocean, open-air restaurants, cafés, and cultural exhibits, and for its open-air air. From Likoni
Ferry Crossing to Mombasa Golf Club, there is a long palm-tree walkway that is popular for
walking and jogging.
