Also known as Government Aquarium which is the second largest aquarium in India. It is located in Bangalore at the entrance of Cubbon Park. The aquarium was established in 1983. It has variety of fish on the display that aare exotic and ornamental.

The entry fee is free for childrens below the age of 12. For adults the entry fee is 10-20.

The opening time for the visitors are from 10 to 5:30 pm throughout the week except on monday.

The average roming time there could be around 2-3 hours.

Outside food are not allowed there. The area is provided with parking facilities.

The aquarium is one of the best sightseeing place in Bangalore. It is the largest aquarium located their with a number of collection of fishes that are exotic. You will find fishes like Catla, Moon Tail, Pearl Gourami, Siamese, Goldfish and many other.

The building is in diamond shape with variety of flora and fauna which are divided into three floors section where the first floor has 14 tanks and second haas total of 69 tanks.

The climate conditions at this time is pleasant. The view will be enjoyable at this time. But also you can visit the Aquarium in summer time when the temperature is around 33 degree. It is possible to roam around at this time which is between march to may.

You can avoid the monsoons time which is in between july to september. As during this time there are heavy rainfall, which can cause problem to you to explore the outdoor area of the city.
