There are 19 magnificent astrological and architectural instruments at Jaipur's Jantar Mantar. The following is a list of some of the attractions you must not miss while seeing this amazing building. -  Vrihat Samrat Yantra, also known as The Big Sundial The 27-meter-long sundial is situated in the middle of the observatory. This equinoctial sundial has a two-second accuracy in time measurement. The yantra features a triangular-shaped wall whose exhibit covers the same amount of ground in the same amount of time. The yantra is oriented north-south and at an angle that corresponds to this place's latitude. To accurately anticipate the time, the movement of the triangle walls' shadow is optimized.

Jantar Mantar, the Jaipur observatory, is a collection of both astronomical and architectural tools. There are about 19 significant geometrical devices total here. Every single one of them has a unique application. 

These tools are used to track orbiting stars, determine the celestial heights, predict eclipses, determine the declination of planets and the planetary system, and measure time.

 

 The complete observatory covers a land area of 18700 meters and has a large number of instruments. It's interesting to note that some of the instruments on hand are among the biggest of their type. 

 

The only materials used to craft the instruments for this astronomical observatory were stone and marble because of their exceptional ability to tolerate environmental fluctuations.

great food and hospitality by local people

On my local sightseeing tour in jaipur, I had so much fun and the thing I liked the most about jaipur was the food. We stopped at the local restaurant for lunch and there we tried puri and sabzi with Masala Chach and it was so delicious. The staff was also very polite and the hospitality was great.
