Nahargarh Fort, a massive structure constructed by Sawai Madho Singh in the eighteenth century, towers over the city of Jaipur. The name Nahargarh means "abode of tigers," and the fort is located on Cheel ka Teela, also known as the "Hill of Eagles." At one time, Jaipur was surrounded by the forts of Nahargarh, Amer, and Jaigarh. However, because it contains numerous palaces, temples, and beautifully planted gardens, Nahargarh Fort was also used by the Jaipur rulers as a summer resort. The Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort are connected by an extended wall.

The most popular sight at the fort is the Madhavendra Palace, which has nine apartments for the king's concubines in addition to an exquisite suite for the monarch. The walls of the Madhavendra palace are stunning, and The suites include beautiful fresco murals and a complex design.


A zoo and the well-known Nahargarh Biological Park, which houses Bengal tigers and Asiatic lions, are located inside the fort, respectively. 1. Nahargarh Biological Park: Spread across 7.2 sq km at the base of the Aravalli mountain ranges, the Nahargarh Biological Park is encircled by dry deciduous, and humid spike jungles.
