An old person told me about the Bhuteshwar Nath trek trail for the first time, reminiscing about their early trips to the historic temple. At that time, visiting Bhuteshwar on weekends was a weekend ritual for their entire family. The hills were home to some fierce wildlife back then. They strictly avoided trekking to Bhuteshwar Nath in the early morning or late at night in order to be safe.

The Bhuteshwar Nath trek offers a variety of routes for exploration and passes through Jaipur's Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary. The main (and most popular) route starts at Nahargarh Biological Park. Because of its generally level terrain, there aren't many uphill or downhill passages. The VKI Area provides an additional entry point to the temple. The Sagar Lake route is a popular option for those seeking a more daring experience.

The Bhuteshwar Nath Mahadev trek begins at several locations. The most well-liked one starts close to the entrance to the Nahargarh Biological Park.

Trail Gradient: Easy to moderate for those without prior hiking experience. The trek is a little bit longer than that of Hathni Kund.

Near the Galtaji temple in Jaipur, the Chour Ghati Trek became well-known when enterprising guides started marketing it as an adventure destination. It is important to remember, though, that this location's historical significance has nothing to do with "Chour" or robbers. Since the fifteenth century, this area has been sacred, and some people think it is impolite to call it "Chour Ghati."

Hiking the Nahargarh Fort Trek is one of the most popular hiking routes in Jaipur, without a doubt. This is a cobbled trail that starts at Purani Basti and ends close to an old stepwell inside Nahargarh Fort. This stepwell called a "Baori," is particularly significant because the Bollywood film "Rang De Basanti" was filmed there.

The ability to set out on this adventure at first light is one amazing advantage of trekking to Nahargarh Fort. A growing number of travelers have taken this route in recent years. Given that Nahargarh Fort is 200 meters above sea level, people in reasonable physical condition can easily finish the trail in 15 minute

The trekking experience in Chulgiri Hills is genuinely rustic. Because Chulgiri is one of the most revered Digamber Jain temples in Jaipur, it continues to be well-known. Because Chulgiri is close to the Jhalana Forest, these hills are also home to many leopards. Remarkably, Zone 1, one of the most popular routes for the Jhalana Leopard Safari, ends close to the Chulgiri foothills.

I would not recommend going into the jungle that surrounds Chulgiri. You can, however, ascend the staircase that leads to the temple. These stairs not only offer breathtaking panoramic views, but they also provide an excellent cardiovascular workout. Many runners enjoy the opportunity to jog along the path that ascends from the valley to the temple.

The Garh Ganesh Temple is thought to be Jaipur's oldest temple. For first-time trekkers in Jaipur, the Garh Ganesh Trek is highly recommended. Some trekkers jokingly refer to this trek as the "Chabutara Trek of Jaipur," a name that certainly carries a lighthearted charm.

The original staircase leading to the Garh Ganesh temple is steep, making it ideal for fitness enthusiasts looking for a challenging workout. For those seeking a more accessible route, an alternate path begins on the left side and is particularly popular among female hikers in Jaipur. Many hikers choose to leave the temple grounds and continue their journey to the hill behind Garh Ganesh. After a short walk, you'll come across a newly built temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This location is ideal for taking a break, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful scenery and weather.

➔ Trek Level - It is a short but steep climb if you decide to take the ancient stairs that lead to the Garh Ganesh Temple. The more recent route, however, offers a gentler incline that is suitable for beginners.

Before the Jhalana Leopard Safari restricted access to this area, trekking in the Jhalana region of Jaipur was a popular choice. The Dhok tree, which flourishes in its native environment, dominates the landscape of Jhalana.

It is necessary to obtain a permit from the forest department in order to start Jhalana Treks. Since the Jhalana Leopard Safari was established, I have not gone on these treks. Still, there are other nearby locations that provide a gentler trekking experience. One noteworthy recommendation in this regard is the Mountaineering & Adventure Institute in Jhalana, which is close to the forest department's World Forestry Arboretum. 

For those who are trekking for the first time in Jaipur, the Chauhde Ke Hanuman Ji Temple is a highly recommended trek because of its accessibility and low effort level. This hike starts near Sagar Lake, which is not far from Amer Fort. Specifically, it starts near Panna Meena Kund in Amer Town. The short walk is meant to end at the Hanuman Ji temple, which is perched on top of the hill. But some hikers decide to continue traveling past this point and explore the trail even more.
