The Peace Pagoda was built under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii, a Buddhist monk from Japan it was Designed by M. Ohka, it took 36 months to complete the construction. The pagoda houses the four faces or avatars of Buddha including Maitreya Buddha and was made to bring together people of different caste in search of peace and love. It is a sacred and religious site. The Peace Pagodas was made to bring out a focus for people of all races and help them to unite in their views and explorations for world peace. It is a place of calmness is peace.
