The distance from Bangalore to Ooty is 271 km, which you can cover in approximately 6 hours. From Mysore, the distance is 125 km covered in approximately 4 hours. Here is the recommended itinerary to follow. 

 

Day 1:  

 

  • If you reach Ooty in the morning, refresh yourself and cover a few Ooty sightseeing places in the morning itself, like Mukurthi National Park; the morning safari is excellent. After that, you can head to Pykara Falls and Lake to enjoy boating and splendid views.
  • In the day, head to Wenlock Downs, Rose Gardens, and Pine Tree Forest, each within a coverable distance to the other.
  • After enjoying the local cuisines, you can board the toy train at 2 pm and head to the Ketti viewpoint and enjoy the view.

Day 2:
