The trek starts at Kasol. You can reach Kasol by taking a train from Delhi to Bhuntar. From Bhuntar, you can either take a bus or hire a cab to Kasol. Alternatively, you can also fly to Dharamshala or Kullu, and from there you can simply take a bus to Kasol.

to reach Kasol, you can take a bus from Delhi to Bhuntar. From Bhuntar you can either take a taxi or catch a local bus to Kasol. You can also just directly take a taxi to Kasol, or drive from Delhi while enjoying the scenic vistas of the valley. By air, you can fly to Dharamshala or the Kullu Airport, from where you can catch a local bus to reach Kasol!
Yes! This trek is of an easy grade and is ideal for first-time trekkers. The total distance covered during the trek is 25 km, which is manageable for beginners. The said distance is distributed evenly during the trek, making it easier for the trekkers. Furthermore, the terrain of the trek is a soft, gradual incline and decline, and will not lead to fatigue for anyone with average health!
The Kasol Tosh trek is open even during December. You are most welcome to undertake this trek at the end of the year if you so wish! However, if the trek is undertaken in December, there are certain things to be kept in mind - the snow gets really slippery, and dangerous during the winter months. It is best to undertake a guided tour, with adequate trekking gear including trekking shoes and poles. However, once you reach safely to the top, the hot springs awaiting you become even more enticing.
