Day 1 - December 30 | Triund Trek | 5 hours trek

The Craziest Adventures In Mcleodganj

Reach Dharmakot early in the morning and check into the picturesque campsite and meet your fellow campers for the first time!
Get ready and prepare yourself for the craziest adventures in Mcleodganj, as you take in the magnificent vistas around you!
At around 9 AM we will embark on the trek by exploring the meandering meadows, great landscapes, panoramic views, and the amazing chilly weather.
By taking small tea breaks and halting at scenic points to fully appreciate the trail, it will take around 5-6 hours to reach the Triund campsite.
Reach the top and enjoy the mesmerizing views of the Dhauladhar ranges and the alluring Kangra Valley. Witness the most memorable sunset at Triund as you relax after the journey.
Enjoy the stay at your camp at Triund and make sure to enjoy the star-glanced magical night.

Day 2 - December 31 | Trek to Dharamkot and Sightseeing

Explore Various Places in Dharmakot

Wake up to the breathtaking sunrise and freshen up. Enjoy your steaming hot breakfast and get ready to descend back from Triund to Dharamkot.
The trek back will be just as magnificent as earlier, exchanging stories with the now-familiar campers, taking pictures of the scenic vistas, and breathing in the fresh, mountain air.
Upon reaching, take a rest in your camps after the long trek. And prepare yourself for the New Year’s party we have planned for you!
In the evening, go exploring and visit the various places to see in Dharamkot like Norbulingka Institute, Dalai Lama Temple, St. John Church, and the gorgeous Naddi village.
Later, enjoy the roaring campfire and rock the beats of the splendid music.
Have your delicious dinner and welcome the new year as you party to your heart’s content before you slip into your tents for the night.

Day 3 - January 1 | Departure

How to reach Mcleodganj from Delhi?

The best way to reach Mcleodganj is by taking a direct bus from Delhi or Chandigarh. You can also drive from Delhi or Chandigarh to Mcleodganj.
The nearest railhead is the Pathankot railway station in Dharamshala which is 90 km from Mcleodganj. Gaggal airport is the nearest about 30km from Mcleodganj.

Is alcohol allowed on the trip?

Yes, you can bring alcohol from outside. It will be counted as a personal expense.

Is there any snowfall in Mcleodganj?

December to February is the peak time to have snowfall in Mcleodganj. If you get lucky then you might experience snowfall at new year’s time.

What should I carry for the trip?

It is a 2 nights/ 3 days trip. We advised you to take heavy woollen clothes and essential stuff. Carry minimum weight and travel light to enjoy more.

Does this package includes transportation from Delhi to Mcleodganj?

No, this package doesn’t include any kind of transportation facility neither from Delhi to Mcleodganj nor from Mcleodganj to Dharmakot.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made 25 days before the date of departure, would levy 15% of the total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Any cancellation made within 15-25 days before the date of departure, would levy a 25% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Any cancellation made within 7-15 days before the date of departure, would levy 50% of the total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Any cancellation made within 0-7 days before the date of departure, would levy 100% of the total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be canceled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveler as an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.

Delays may occur due to weather conditions. Further, if there is heavy rainfall at any of the locations for camp, the trek leader may decide to lead the trek back to the previous point or any other point for the night camp.
Any person with health conditions like Asthma etc is advised not to go for this expedition. However, if they so decide, it is at their own risk.
