About Paragliding in Goa
Goa is becoming a popular spot for adventure sports like paragliding. Paragliding is an air sport where a person flies using a free-flying, foot-launched aircraft called a paraglider. The paraglider looks like a parachute and has suspender lines that connect to a fabric wing. To take off, the pilot has to run a few steps off a cliff or slope until the wind catches the wing and lifts the pilot into the air. In Goa, there are a few good paragliding sites with high cliffs next to beaches which are perfect for taking in views of the oceans and forests while paragliding. It is an exciting way to see Goa from up above. Beginners can fly in tandem with an instructor for their first flight.
