By Air 

  • To reach the Sham Valley Trek by air, first, book a flight to Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (IXL), the nearest airport to Ladakh. 
  • Multiple airlines operate regular flights to Leh from major Indian cities like Delhi. From Leh, hire a taxi or arrange for transportation to the starting point of the trek in Likir or nearby villages.

By Road 

  • To reach the Sham Valley Trek by road, travel to Leh, Ladakh, by road from major Indian cities like Delhi or Srinagar. 
  • You can take a bus, hire a taxi, or go on a road trip. Once in Leh, hire local transportation to reach the trek's starting point in Likir or nearby villages.

By Train:

  • There is no direct train connectivity to Ladakh. To reach the Sham Valley Trek, first, take a train to the nearest major railway station, Jammu Tawi (JAT) in Jammu & Kashmir. 
  • From there, continue your journey by road, either by hiring a taxi or taking a bus, to reach Leh, the gateway to Ladakh, and then proceed to the trek's starting point in Likir or nearby villages.
