THE MACHAN Overview

This is an eco friendly resort with tree houses which are 30-45 feet above the forest. This is a perfect place for spending some quality time in the lap of nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. This is a perfect weekend getaway place. It is just 2.5 hours away from Mumbai and 1.5 drive away from Pune.
The Machan Lonavala is known for its luxury and comfort as it offers unique treehouses, ground-based cabins, and an on-site Indian buffet restaurant. The balconies of this place offers amazing and beautiful views of valleys. Also, you can enjoy many activities at this place such as cycling and hiking. 

Type of accommodation available at this place are:

Woods (Ground based): This is a beautifully designed wooden room which has a private balcony that offers some amazing views.

Sunset Machan: This has a bedroom, loft and a private wooden deck. It includes an open shower and a private bathroom. 

Jungle Machan: This has 2 bedrooms combined with bathroom, bathtub and shower. The balcony space gives you the mesmerising views.

Forest Machan: This is a treat for the eyes as it gives some beautiful views from the balcony as it floats over the dense forest.

Canopy Machan: This has one master bedroom and an attached modern bathroom on the edge of the valley.

What are the basic amenities provided at the Machan Lonavala?

There are many basic amenities which are given in the Machan Lonavala like Bottled water, Private Deck, Electronic safe, WiFi, bathroom  with a bathtub, AC rooms, Yoga and Spa facilities, 24/7 help desk and free parking space.

Confirmation Policy

  • Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
  • In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

  • Any cancellation made 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
  • Any cancellation made within 7-20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 60% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
  • Any cancellation made within 0-7 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 100% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
  • Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
