Who developed Goa?

Goa came under the Portuguese possession under Albuquerque but he did not change any ritual or customs of Goa apart from Sati. He exterminated the Muslim rulers and appointed Timoja as the governor. After a long dispute that took place between the two countries: India and Portugal in 1955 which was later resolved after Daman, Diu and Goa was brought under the territories of India which was supported by Portugal's air forces and naval forces into bringing them under the list of Indian territories in 1987

Which was the first religion in Goa?

Earlier Goa was ruled by the Hindu emperors and later the Muslim Emperors but after Goa was colonized by the Portuguese many people of Goa was converted to Christianity despite that there were a large number of Hindu population who kept themselves intact to their religion. After Albuquerque changed the condition of Goa by driving away from the Muslim rulers he abolished the practice of Sati but did not force the people to give up on their customs. But those who changed to Christianity the Roman Catholic Church provided them with legal citizenship of Portugal. Thus, as a result, apart from Hinduism a large number of Christians reside in Goa.
