Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding was established in 1998 in Dubai by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, an Emirati politician and royal. He is the current Ruler of Dubai and a member of the Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates. This cultural centre operates under the deliberation of "Open Doors, Open Minds".
The cultural centre helps the visitors to acknowledge Emirati tradition and culture, coupled with the idea of helping them to attain knowledge and idea of the traditions and customs of the Emirates.
The cultural centre also arranges various sorts of activities for the tourists such as guided tours of landmarks, and endowment sites in Dubai. Educational programs, cultural awareness events along with lectures are also organised for students. Arabic classes, and Iftar during Ramadan are also some of the activities that are held there. The wind tower house in Al Fahidi Neighborhood is the track down to this centre.

The Jumeirah Grand Mosque was built and gifted by Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the former ruler and father of the current ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It is said to be the most photographed mosque in Dubai.

the place is so clean also Facilities are clean and the bathrooms are spacious and clean. not like the waterpark .
