The Jeddah Lighthouse, also known as the Jeddah Light and is a historic lighthouse located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It was built in 1937 by the French company BBTI and stands at a height of 133 meters, making it one of the tallest lighthouses in the world.
The lighthouse served as an important navigation aid for ships entering the Red Sea and was fully automated in the 1980s.
Visitors can still admire this beautiful landmark, engage in photography, and watch the vessels arrive and go from the pier even though they are not permitted to enter the ports. People can also go to the adjacent Central Fish Market and Corniche Commercial Center.
Today, the Jeddah Lighthouse is considered an important landmark and a symbol of the city's maritime history.
