The location of this historically significant park is where the late politician Indira Gandhi gave her last speech before being assassinated. The historic park, which spans 10.6 acres, is situated in front of the Orissa Assembly. The park is kept in a beautiful state, filled with rich green plants and exotic flowers, as a tribute to its noteworthy significance. In addition, the park is home to several wild date palms, sandalwood trees, and recognisable kala jamun trees.
The park is also furnished with a number of amenities and attractions for the guests' convenience, including canteens, bathrooms, waterfalls, rose gardens, and a musical fountain. A statue of Indira Gandhi has been erected in the park.
