The Vyas Chhatri memorial, one of the most impressive of all memorials, features wonderfully constructed cenotaphs, promoting it as a fantastic tourist destination. A ceremonial cremation place for Brahmins is found in Jaisalmer and is dedicated to Sage Vyas, the author of the epic Mahabharata, on this memorial plaque. North of the entire edifice is where the Sage-specific cenotaph is located. Upon the passing of the royal family's clans, these cenotaphs were constructed as a mark of respect. Yellow sandstone pillars serve as the foundation for the cenotaphs, which are topped with elaborately carved chhatris. The content must have been of the highest calibre, as must the statistics and finer details. The Chhatri is often referred to be the sun-set point since it offers a panoramic view over the lovely city of Jaisalmer. One of the city's most well-known sights and tourist attractions, Vyas Chhatri is located in a building named Bada Bagh. Speaking of the building, the elaborate carvings on the pavilions in the form of domes are stunning. You'll get a lasting sense of serenity and peace here, especially around dusk. A photographer's paradise, Vyas Chhatri is the ideal location to strike the right position for your greatest pictures, especially in the twilight.

Taking everything into consideration, the best time to visit Rajasthan, and more specifically Vyas Chhatri in Jaisalmer, is during the winter. You can still travel here till April even though these winter months are between October and mid-February. We strongly advise against coming here during the summer because the excruciating heat would probably make it very difficult for you to enjoy your trip. Summertime is the least ideal time to come because sandstorms are frequently experienced here.

The epic Mahabharata, one of the world's longest writings, is attributed to Sage Vyasa, also known as Vedavyasa, a legendary figure in Hindu mythology. His contributions to Hindu texts and the spiritual legacy he left behind are recognised by the cenotaph, which is named in his honour.
As a cenotaph that acts as a memorial, Vyas Chhatri is a building that is off-limits to visitors. The cenotaph can be toured by guests, who can also take in its beautiful outside architecture.
There are no set hours for prayers or rites at the inactive Hindu temple of Vyas Chhatri. However, because it is a revered location, visitors are urged to keep a calm and introspective atmosphere while there.

One of the best forts in Rajasthan, stunningly golden! While it's a live-in fort and hence the entrance, as well as the general area, may not look clean but the views from the fort are just awesome. Some important tips for first-time visitors:
