Bhadraj Trek is a one or two days trek which is ideal for weekend treks. The trail route cuts through the beautifully forested area in the northern slope of barren grasslands on the southern part. The short trail begins from Mussoorie and passes through the Dudhli village. The trek can be completed within two day by camping overnight at Dudhli village.
The Bhadraj temple is a part of the Badrinath Temple, and pilgrims consider the blessings received here to be the same as those received at the Badrinath Temple. Every year, from the 15th to the 17th of August, the Temple hosts a fair that draws thousands of devotees from Mussoorie and the surrounding areas.
The Bhadraj hill trek also showcases beautiful Victorian-style buildings and along a lush green trail. Dudhli, also known as the Milkman's Village, is reached via the trail. One can stay the night there and resume their Bhadraj trek the next day. The journey from the village is a little steep and can be exhausting. The view from the Temple, however, is well worth the journey
