➔ Take a connecting or direct flight to Chennai International Airport. It is possible to take a flight to Salem, from there, take a cab to Kolli Hills.
➔ Chennai Central is the main station connecting to many Indian cities. From there, you can take any one of the many trains running between Chennai and Salem. A prepaid taxi is the best way to reach Kolli Hills from Salem.
➔ Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminal is known as one of the largest bus stations in Asia and is well-connected to most Indian cities. You can book an ultra AC bus or a government bus to reach Chennai. Book a car or rented taxi to reach the campsite in Kolli Hills.

The main amenities you will get here include western toilets, showers, electricity in the common area, charging points in your cottage, and dome tent stay.
Apart from camping at the hills, there are only a few attractions for you to see, so 2-3 days are enough.
The ideal time is between March to June in spring or between August to December in Autumn as the weather is pleasant and the camping experience is super fun here.
The total number of steps include 1,300 steps. The walk is long, for sure, but the steps also have gentle gradients and railings for the support, making the trek easy.
The most famous temple here is Seegiri Santhalinga Swamy Temple honoring Lord Shiva. It is one of the ancient temples here with rich historical and cultural importance.
