The start part of the trek is easy and flat, and it slowly takes you deep into the forest. You can find the beautiful Sita River flowing through this way. Many small streams flow across the path during monsoon and one can enjoy its beauty. As you head ahead, the trail gets more inclined as forests go thicker as you move ahead. The Sita River narrows ahead, meeting down a gorge to become the waterfall of Barkana.
Navigate around the rocks to reach the top point of the waterfall. The rocks present here are too slippery, so one should be careful while climbing up. As you reach, you can witness a glimpse of water falling down from a huge height of 2,200 feet. The roaring waterfall across silent green valleys makes for a pleasing contrast. From right here onwards, the trek turns tougher, because the path is steep till you reach the end of the forest. This 3-kilometer trek takes around 2-3 hours to navigate. The trails are steep, slippery, and entirely of leeches. Once you reach the end of the forest, there's a surprising change in the landscape that will amaze you.
It's a beautiful visual treat for every trekker visiting here as one can witness the beauty of nature while trekking.
