By Air

  • From there, take a taxi or bus to Kukke Subramanya, the base village for the trek, approximately 115 kilometers away. The journey takes around 4-5 hours by road.

By Road 

  • To reach Kumara Parvatha Trek from Coorg by road, start in Madikeri, the district headquarters of Coorg. Drive southeast to Sullia, then take SH-75 towards Somwarpet. 
  • Continue to Kukke Subramanya, the trek's base. It's about 105 kilometers and takes approximately 3-4 hours by road, offering scenic views en route.

By Train:

  • To reach Kumara Parvatha Trek from Coorg by train, there isn't a direct railway station in Coorg. You can take a train to Subramanya Road Railway Station, which is the nearest railhead, located around 20 kilometers from Kukke Subramanya.
