Excellent place to hangout, and enjoy with your team. We loved our tent stay and adventure activity. Special thanks to Banbanjara for providing a wonderful experience.
It was a nice experience staying inside Tent and felt comfortable staying. Dinner and breakfast were good. Had a good trekking experience and indoor games. We went on weekdays and no other visitors were present. It was a memorable movement.
Nice place for a corporate outing. Staff were very supportive & flexible to our requests. The team-building & rope activities were fun, the food was tasty. There is no kid's play area, which is a letdown. But all over it was a nice palace.
We set few expectations before going to the camp but the hospitality and the politeness of the staff were really good and did really cater to all our needs. Please do talk to a team of Banbanara, they are a very good guide and manager of the place. Loved the stay and will definitely visit multiple times in the future.
Had a great Camping stay at Nandi Foothills with my daughter. The food was excellent and the host was making sure to take care of each of the guests. Good indoor activities, clean toilets, a great campfire experience, and a good early morning guided trekking.
Nandi Hills is an ancient hill station built by the Ganga Dynasty in the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka state. It is 10 km from Chickballapur town and approximately 60 km from Bengaluru. Arkavathy River, Ponnaiyar River, Palar River, Papagni River, and Penna River are believed to be originating from Nandi Hills which is 4851 ft above sea level. Sunrise at Nandi Hills is a spectacular experience.
We visited on a weekend in the afternoon, around 1 pm. We got a place to park our car and then boarded the bus that takes you to the top of the hills. The view in the afternoon is not so bad, maybe not as nice as it would be at sunrise or sunset. It was crowded at the top but not too bad to ruin our experience. There are a lot of monkeys near all the food stalls so buy something at your own risk.
Nandi Hills is a perfect weekend gateway from Bangalore and Mysore. Sunrise and Sunset are picturesque here. This place is full of greenery and provides a nice city view with beautiful landscapes. There are a kids' park, tree houses, and several cottages for overnight stay. The buses ply frequently from the entrance to the top. However, if you can walk, there are several stairs in the middle of the flora to take you to the top. Environment portraits look wonderful.
Nandi Hills is famous for its iconic sunrise and cloud-cladded hilltop. But with this beauty come too many visitors (I mean too many is an understatement). If you go on a weekend and reach anytime after 5:30 AM, chances are that you may have to come back from the foothill only. It has no crowd management whatsoever and on top of it, crazy drivers push their cars in every nook n Corner. And never never never go on weekends or holidays.
I have seen a few images of Nandi hills and that attracts me to explore that place. I always take public transport as my first priority and it's worthwhile. When you want to go away from your day-to-day life, this is the perfect place to explore with family and friends. Easy access to places like this. It could be road trips via bike, car, and public transport as well.
