Arc De Triomphe -
The Arc de Triomphe is a famous monument located in Paris, France. It was commissioned by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1806 to honor the soldiers who fought for France during the Napoleonic Wars, and its construction was completed in 1836.
The Arc de Triomphe is located at the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle, at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. It stands at a height of 50 meters and is adorned with intricate carvings and sculptures.
The monument is a symbol of France's military history and is adorned with names of battles fought and generals who led them. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, which honors all French soldiers who died in World War I, is also located beneath the Arc.
Pantheon -
The Pantheon is a historic monument located in the Latin Quarter of Paris, France. It was originally built as a church dedicated to St. Genevieve, but later became a secular monument and burial place for distinguished French citizens.
The building was constructed in the neoclassical style by architect Jacques-Germain Soufflot in the 18th century. It features a large dome and a portico supported by Corinthian columns.
The Pantheon has been the final resting place of many notable French figures, including Voltaire, Rousseau, Victor Hugo, Émile Zola, and Marie Curie. The crypt beneath the building contains a number of tombs and cenotaphs honoring these and other famous individuals.
In addition to its historical and cultural significance, the Pantheon also offers stunning views of Paris from its dome, which visitors can access via a staircase.
