1) Architecture: Every inch of this Chateau, from the numerous staircases to various rooms and museums screams detailed architecture. And not only is the view picturesque to visitors but also gives so much idea about Napoleon History and Renaissance period. 

2) Museums: There are 5 museums of different times in the Chateau including the Napoleon Museum, where you will find an idea of daily life of the monarch. It also has clothes , accessories and weapons like swords of that time . 

3) Lavish Ballroom: French history was always fond of world dance and music. Ballroom in one such place for balls and celebrations. It was built by King Henry. 

4) Bedroom of Queen: The palace has a separate room for all the Queens of the 11th to 18th century. Decorated with classic grand ceiling and furniture by Guillaume Noyers is a sight to watch. 

5) Napoleon's Throne room : It is fair to say that the former monarch contributed a lot to the Chateau. The throne room was the royal bedroom of greats like Louis XVI . The attention grabbing part of this room is the symbol of French Rule , which was a symbol of respect for all civilians and officials. 

6) Council Chamber : Close to the Throne room , is a Chamber where all the Monarchs and trustworthy officials and advisors used to have meetings. This chamber has been through various renovations and redecorations . Currently it has royal armchairs from Marcion and Paintings by Carle Van Loo. Followed by a ceiling designed by Francois Boucher. 

7) Active Court : The palace has a rare active court for tennis . So former tennis lovers , this is a must - visit for you .

8) Large Parks and Garden : around 130 acres of the area is covered in bushes and flowers , which used to make it a perfect place for Royals to spend their springs. Take your time exploring each one of them.

1) Gallery of Francis I : With one of the best examples to show decoration during the Renaissance period , the Gallery of Francis is a stare- worthy piece of architecture by Rosso Fiorentino . The pathway , now Royalty, was decorated in the 15th century as ordered by King Francis I.

2) Pope's Apartment: The importance of the Pope in all the traditions goes as far back as the 18th century. The Chateau de Fontainebleau has an apartment where the Pope Pius VIII stayed during his visit in Paris for the coronation ceremony of Napoleon.
