The highest forts in Maharashtra, Salher and Salota Fort, are situated in the scenic Selbari Mountain Range within the Baglan region of Nasik district. 
Salher stands proudly at an approximate height of 5141 feet, while in the Dolbar Mountain Range, you’ll find the Mulher-Mora and Hargad forts.
Notably, this region played host to a historic battle in 1671, which pitted the Mughals against the Marathas, with Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj emerging victorious.

Day 1 - Trek to Salher

  • Arrive at the base village at 4:30 am and rest for 1-1.5 hours.
  • Freshen up at 6:00 am.
  • Have breakfast at 6:30 am.
  • Start the trek to Salher at 7:00 am, reach the top by 10:30 am.
  • Move to Salota Fort and reach the top by 1:30 pm for a packed lunch.
  • Begin descending at 3:00 pm.
  • Reach the base village at 5:30 pm and head to the Mulher base.
  • Reach the Mulher base at 6:30 pm.
  • Enjoy dinner at 9:00 pm.

Day 2 - Departure day

  • 4:30 am: Wake up and prepare.
  • 6:00 am: Have breakfast.
  • 6:30 am: Begin climbing Hargad.
  • 9:30 am: Reach the summit of Hargad and explore.
  • 12:00 pm: Start descending from Hargad and head to Mulher fort.
  • 1:30 pm: Arrive at Mulher fort and explore.
  • 3:30 pm: Proceed to Moragad.
  • 4:00 pm: Reach Moragad, enjoy a packed lunch.
  • 5:00 pm: Start descending from Moragad.
  • 7:30 pm: Return to the base village and begin the journey back to Mumbai.
  • 11:30 pm: Estimated arrival in Mumbai.
