This location is situated at a distance of about 50 kms from Pune. So one can take their own vehicle or opt for a public transport from Swargate bus stop. First you have to reach Nasrapur from Pune and from there to Velhe.

This trek is comparatively safer. If one prefers to park their vehicle in the parking area and walks,25% of the trekking time will be covered. Otherwise if one is starting from the base point it will take a complete 3 hours till the end of the trek. There will be a steep climb after 60% of the trek ets completed. It is better to take care in the monsoon season because at this time the pathways will get slippery.

People used to carry their own tent and equipment for this trek. You have to carry suitable clothes according to the season of your visit.

The Torna fort has a total distance of 11 kms. Paved with mountains on both sides,the trek starts from sanjeevani machi and ends at Kokan darwaja.

The trek will only take 3 hours as it is 11 kms long.One has to take care while trekking in the monsoon season as it gets slippery.

It is better to come via pune from Mumbai. The location is 210 kms away from Mumbai and one has to reach Velhe village Through NH4.
