By Train

➔ To reach Mumbai you can take a train to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and to reach Pune you can take a train to Pune Junction railway station and from there board the Coimbatore Express.

By Road

➔ You can reach Mumbai/Pune by road from the major cities in the country and then after arriving here, you will have to reach the railway station to board to Coimbatore Express.

Itinerary For Adiyogi with Rameswaram and Madurai Backpacking Tour From Mumbai

Day 1 - Departure from pune and Mumbai to Bangalore

You can board the Coimbatore Express from LTT, thane, and Pune to reach Bangalore.

Day 2 - Departure from Bangalore

After arriving in Bangalore we will begin our journey towards coimbatore.

Day 3 - Arriving in Coimbatore

➔ Sightseeing: Local Temples, Light Show at Isha Foundation

➔ Meals: Lunch

➔ Stay: In a Deluxe Hotel On Sharing Basis

You will arrive in Coimbatore by 6 am and then you will check into your hotel.
The standard check-in time is noon but we will provide 1-2 rooms for you to relax and freshen up in the morning.
If time permits we will go local sightseeing and we will visit some temples in Coimbatore.
After having our lunch we will head toward Isha Foundation and there we will explore this place for around 2 hours.
We will enjoy the most wonderful light show at Isha Foundation in the evening before returning to the hotel.
We will have a delicious dinner at the hotel in Coimbatore and stay there for one night.

Day 4 - Arrival In Madurai & Local Sightseeing

➔ Sightseeing: Meenakshi Temple, Tirumala Nayyakar Mahal

➔ Meals: Lunch

➔ Stay: In a Deluxe Hotel On Sharing Basis

Wake up early in the morning and head toward Madurai. It will be an around 4-hour long journey to reach Madurai.
By early afternoon we will reach Madurai and then we will visit the famous Meenakshi temple.
We will then have our lunch but the timings will depend upon the darshan.
We will spend our evening at Tirumala Nayyakar Mahal.
Check into your hotel later in the evening and then you can go shopping in the local market.

Day 5 - Arrival In Rameswaram and Exploring Famous Attraction

➔ Sightseeing: Rameshwaram Shiva temple, Pamban Bridge, Dhanushkodi

➔ Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

➔ Stay: In a Deluxe Hotel On Sharing Basis

Wake up early in the morning and head toward Rameshwaram which will take around 3 hours and we will have our breakfast on the way.
After arriving there we will visit the Rameshwaram Shiva temple and then have lunch.
In the evening we will visit Pamban Bridge and Dhanushkodi, where you will witness the most mesmerizing sunset and then we will leave for Madurai.
On the way to Madurai, we will have our dinner.
We will stay in Madurai overnight.

Day 6 - Departure from Madurai to Hometown

People who will be traveling to Mumbai or Pune will take the Nagercoil Express at 11 AM from Madurai.
People who will travel to Bangalore will take the evening train to Bangalore at 8 PM.

Note: People leaving for Bangalore will have to check out from the hotel at 11:00 AM and then they can explore the nearby places.

Day 7 - Arrival in Pune/Mumbai and Bangalore

You will reach Bangalore by 7:30 am.
By 3:15 pm you will reach Pune junction.
By 7:15 pm you will reach Mumbai.
