Harishchandragad fort is ancient with Microlithic man remnants. It dates back to the 6th century and has diverse cultures.

There's a lovely lake called "Saptatirtha" by the temple. 

On the right of Harishchandreshwar temple, there's a cave called Kedareshwar. It has a big Shiva Linga surrounded by water. The cave has sculptures and is the origin of River Mangalganga.

  • 05:30 PM: Reach the Campsite on Kokankada and enjoy the sunset view.
  • 07:00 PM: Learn to pitch a tent and get ready for a night under the stars.
  • 09:00 PM: Delicious local cuisine for dinner, games, stories, and a cozy bonfire.
  • 11:30 PM: Time to sleep in the tents for those who are tired.

Day 2 - Trek to Taramati Shikar

Taramati Shikar

  • Wake up at 5:00 AM, trek to Taramati Shikar, watch sunrise at Taramati, have breakfast at Kokankada, explore fort, descend, lunch at base village, depart for Kasara Station, take CSMT Fast Local to Mumbai.
