Vasota Fort is one of the ancient forts on hills located at the altitude of 1171 mtrs in Satara district ( Near Bamnoli ).
The fort is located across the valleys and between deep forests of Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary. Located at the banks of Shivsagar Lake, this Vasota Fort is beautifully surrounded on 3 sides by the water.

Itinerary For Vasota Trek from Pune

Day 1 - Departure Day

Shivajinagar

Departure for the Vasota trek

18:45 - Meeting point at Bank of Maharashtra at Shivajinagar.
19:00 - Departure for the Vasota trek.
19:30 - Pick up facility at Katraj Chowk.
Have dinner en route by yourself.

Day 2 - Enjoy trekking and return back

00:30 - Reach Bamnoli.
Enjoy your tent stay.
06:00 - Freshen up.
06:30 - Have a wholesome breakfast and get ready for a short briefing and Introduction.
07:15 - Head towards the boating point.
After you complete all processes, start your boat ride to reach Met Indavali.
09:30 - Reach Met Indavali and start climbing with a kick start to your trek.
12:30 - Reach the top point of Vasota fort and explore the fort and surroundings.
13:00 - enjoy your delicious lunch. (Packed lunch)
13:30 - Head back to descend.
16:00 - Reach Met Indavali and get ready for your return journey to Bamnoli by boat.
17:30 - Reach Bamnoli location at your campsite.
18:00 - Get ready to take off for your return journey back to Pune.
22:00 - Arrival Pune and your trip ends here.
